D. J. Productions is owned and operated full time by DJ/MC/Producer Skipper Schmitt. Skipper has been in the entertainment business his entire professional career and is the area's leading expert in the field of weddings and entertainment. His passion for music and entertainment started at age 16, after joining the SAVOS club at Brandon High. At the age of 18 he started his own company, D.J. Productions, where he did numerous teen clubs and High School dances. He quickly became the DJ to have at your party. By the age of 20 Skipper was performing for the giant tail-gate parties of the Tampa Bay Bandits football team for radio station Q-105. Over the years he has performed at various night clubs and for Radio Parties and their stations 93.3FLZ in Tampa and Big100 and O-Rock in Orlando to name a few. Now 26 years later and thousands of wedding receptions, Skipper is still the most sought after DJ in the Tampa Bay area.
